There’s a debate over who got more out of the opportunity.
Foster Farms recently partnered with the award-winning Vista High School Culinary Program from Vista, California during the Western Foodservice and Hospitality Expo in L.A.
The students gained valuable foodservice experience helping prepare literally hundreds of sandwiches that were offered to show attendees. Plus, they also got to meet, learn and talk with industry professionals during the show.
But the students’ dedication and professionalism was equally inspiring to the Foster Farms team! The students’ work-hard ethic energized the team during the long, arduous hours at the show! We simply had downright fun. Many thanks to Culinary Arts Instructor Kim Plunkett and her band of six wonderful students!
